i came across this shortly after the last session:

my small group discussed this specific concept of preserving the historical record of public view, instead of ‘updating’ the record to the current view. the standard for paper records, but difficult for electronic records.

this was done as part of the MINERVA project.
but how do we archive as fast as the information is available? and how are we supposed to know ‘in the moment’ what should be archived and what will be less relevant?
